We are serious about sustainability

The Bolsius Group endorses the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals and is fully committed to the Paris Agreement – by focusing on a drastic reduction of GHG-emissions. Why, you might wonder? Because, with our rich heritage of over 150 years, we strongly believe that it is our responsibility to keep our world a liveable, healthy and safe place for future generations to come.

We are conscious that a significant part of our footprint is connected to the sourcing and combustion of oil by-products used in our candles. To improve, we have developed our Impact Strategy, which is based on three pillars: Reduce, Care & Engage. These pillars guide our decision-making process at all different levels. We have already invested significant resources to develop and implement numerous short-term solutions, and we are currently working on a Multi-criteria Life Cycle Assessment to support strategic sustainable wax sourcing for a brighter future!
